Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions - The Herd at Remur Park
These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of The Herd at Remur Park programs, sessions, and events. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

1. General Information
The Herd at Remur Park offers nature-based and pony-led programs for children and families. Our sessions are intentionally small to create calm, meaningful experiences. To maintain quality and safety, we ask all participants to respect the guidelines below.

2. Participation and Supervision
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times unless otherwise stated for drop-off programs.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children during the session.

Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and nurturing. We ask all participants to respect others and the animals at all times.

3. Safety and Risk
While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, activities involving animals and nature come with inherent risks.

By attending, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable care for your safety and the safety of those in your care.

Please follow all instructions provided by staff during your visit.

4. Health and Illness
Please do not attend if your child is unwell, contagious, or displaying flu-like symptoms.

In the event of illness, our standard cancellation policy applies (see below).

Notify us as soon as possible if your child has any medical conditions or allergies we should be aware of.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
We understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable, and we do our best to be flexible while also honouring the preparation and small group nature of our sessions.

Cancellations:

48+ hours’ notice: You’re welcome to reschedule your session or receive a credit for future use.

Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-show: Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund or reschedule, as your place was held and preparations made.

Rainy Days:

Sessions go ahead in most weather – we embrace mud, puddles, and rain (within reason)!

If we need to cancel due to extreme weather or unsafe conditions, you’ll be offered a full credit or reschedule option.

6. Booking and Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

Bookings are non-transferable unless approved by Remur Park in writing.

Pack or term bookings may not be split across multiple families unless otherwise agreed.

7. Photography and Media
We occasionally take photos or short videos during sessions for promotional use.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know when booking or inform a team member on arrival.

All media remains the property of Remur Park and may be used for marketing, social media, or educational purposes unless otherwise requested.

8. Animals and Environment
Our ponies are gentle and well cared for, but please approach them calmly and respectfully.

No feeding animals unless invited by a facilitator.

Please help us care for our space by respecting the land, plants, and all living things on it.

9. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave if they are acting in a way that is unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to others, animals, or staff.

10. Liability Waiver
By attending a session, you agree that Remur Park, its staff, and volunteers will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participation, except where required by law.

If you have any questions or need clarification, please reach out prior to your session.

Thank you for being part of The Herd at Remur Park. We look forward to welcoming you!
